MR. SIKANDER LALANI – MANAGING PARTNER

Mr. Sikander Lalani is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP). He was awarded with Gold Medal for securing first place in Chartered Accountancy examinations. He also received a Gold Medal from the ICMAP for getting distinctive marks in Financial Management.

He completed the executive program in Management at Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburg, USA and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Colorado, USA.

Mr. Lalani completed his Articleship in 1981 from A.F Ferguson & Co. Chartered Accountants, affiliate of Price Waterhouse International. During his stay there, he rapidly advanced to the position of an Audit Manager and led the audits of various Multinational and National Organizations.

In 1985, he joined Daudally, Lalani & Co. Chartered Accountants as a Partner tasked with leading the Audit and Assurance and Consultancy divisions.

Mr. Lalani has been in the profession for over 30 years and currently serves as the managing partner of the firm. He has considerable experience in providing statutory audit and assurance, due diligence, financial advisory and management consulting services across a wide spectrum of industries.

Mr. Lalani has advised various corporate entities and SMEs on local and international growth strategies, turnaround strategies and M&A opportunities. He has experience advising companies operating in many industries including but not limited to, real estate, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, trading, pharmaceutical and hospitality.

As a seasoned professional with a vast international business and governmental network, Mr. Lalani is uniquely positioned to advise businesses as they seek to grow and enhance profitability.

MR. SOHAIL LALANI - PARTNER

Mr. Sohail Lalani is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Mr. Lalani completed his Articleship in 2002 from Khalid Majid Husain Rahman, a member firm of Deloitte, Touche, Tohmatsu International. During his training in Deloitte, he was engaged in audits of various Multinational, National and Government owned organizations.

In 2003, he joined Coca Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited and served till June 2005.

In June 2005, he joined Daudally, Lalani & Co. as Senior Manager and in 2006 he was promoted as partner of the firm.

He is responsible for managing the Audit Division. He is experienced in managing audit engagements of manufacturing, trading, professional service, industrial, corporate, community and non-profit organizations.

He also manages the corporate affairs of our clients which include formation & liquidation of companies, company law procedural matters and other corporate services.

He plays an active role in management consultancy, financial advisory and due diligence assignments of various clients. He also works with high net worth individuals and family offices to analyze their local and international investments and long term tax strategies in line their citizenship and residency plans.

MR. MOHAMMAD RAZA – SENIOR MANAGER, AUDIT AND ASSURANCE

Mr. Mohammad Raza is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) and the Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP). He is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) since August 22, 1989.

He completed his audit training with M/s. A.F. Fergusons & Co. Chartered Accountants, affiliate of Price Waterhouse International in 1984. He received world gold medal in Auditing from London Chamber of Commerce.

He has extensive experience in audits of listed and non-listed companies, societies, partnership firms and individuals engaged in varied fields: manufacturing (food, textile, ship building, engineering, tents, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, glass and plastic products etc.), banks and financial institutions, insurance, trading (domestic, import, exports), services (hospital and health care, education, software houses, advertising agencies etc). Besides statutory audits, he has lead assignments in internal audit, audits on behalf of Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and Controller of Insurance [Now Director Insurance under Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)]. He has worked on corporate law services for several companies including incorporation, submitting annual and other returns to Registrar SECP, maintaining statutory books including minutes of Board and general meetings, voluntary winding up of companies etc.

His tax experience includes making and filing income tax & sales tax returns for clients, obtaining tax exemption certificates and refunds, representative of clients at various forums from tax officers, commissioner to Appellate Tribunal. He has also led various assignments of advisory and assurance including strategy studies, system development and implementation.

His other assignments include research surveys for customer satisfaction, specialized consumer product and business development.
